2004 Anderson Valley Raye's Reserve Pinot Noir •
This wine is Raye's first blending solo. It was produced with wine from our three 2004 vineyard designated pinot noirs. Two of the vineyards are from the "warm" Boonville area and the third is our Estate from the cooler Philo region. Raye decided to make a special blend this year that reflected her feminine tastes. After several blending experiments Raye's Reserve was created. We bottled the wine in March 2006 and released it in January, 2007.
Raye's Reserve is a delightful blend of our Estate, Cerise and Wightman House Vineyards that has produced an elegant wine with cherry and strawberry flavors along with aromas of red fruit and vanilla.
